📊 How to Create a CSV File in Excel

📋 Note: Mobile numbers (SMS recipients) must begin with the country prefix. For Malaysia, use prefix 60 (e.g. 60123456789). You can also download the sample CSV file for reference.
1 Format Your Spreadsheet

Open Excel and enter your phone numbers in the correct format. All Malaysian mobile numbers must begin with prefix 60 (e.g. 60123456789, 60192345678).

Step 1 — Format phone numbers in Excel
2 Format Phone Numbers as Custom

To convert numbers to the 60-prefix format automatically:

  1. Select/highlight all the phone numbers in the column.
  2. Right-click the selection and choose "Format Cells".

3 Apply Custom Number Format

In the Format Cells dialog, select "Custom" and enter the format: 60########## (60 followed by 10 # symbols). Click OK. All numbers will be prefixed with 60.

4 Save as CSV Format

Go to File → Save As. In the format dropdown, choose CSV (Comma delimited) (.csv). Click Save.

5 Confirm CSV Save

Excel will prompt you to confirm saving in CSV format — click Yes to proceed. Your CSV file is now ready to upload to iSMS.
